HHMI created a animation of the water cycle in Gorongosa National Park. Gorongosa National Park sits at the southern end of Africa’s Great Rift Valley in Mozambique and is centered around Lake Urema. To the northwest, Mount Gorongosa rises almost two thousand meters above sea level. The animations show how these features affect Gorongosa's water cycle, which starts with the evaporation of water from the Indian Ocean.The animation is available on YouTube and in several different formats to download. There is also a transcript available to download.
